It is the first and only of its kind in Greece fully certified organic food production and catering plant.

• The POWER FOODS plant is certified by the Bio-Hellas organic certification society for the full range of its products.
• It is in the process of obtaining ISO22000 quality assurance certification.

It is located in the industrial area of Koropi 5 minute drive from the international Athens airport and main motorway junctions as well as 20 minute drive from the centre of Athens.

The plant configuration has been especially designed in order to allow it to produce a wide range of different foods. The plant equipment includes industrial kitchen, ovens, mixers, blast freezers, salad preparation areas, sandwiches and packaging, all the necessary equipment for catering, large fridge and freezer storage areas, intercom, CCTV, air-condition, fire security systems, pest and insect control traps, infrared equipment sterilization chambers, biodegradable cleaning liquid supply appliances, and photocatalytic appliances that recycle the atmosphere every 1 ½ hours keeping it clean and free from airborne specs and dust particles.

It is also the only food production unit in Europe that uses the unique TENSA water filtering and enriching system through volcanic rock strata layers upgrading the normal mains water supply into genuine mountain spring water quality. The production area covers 350 sq.m out of a total building area of 800 sq.m. which includes toilets, staff changing and showering facilities, dry storage areas, reception areas and offices. There is adequate room for expansion if need be.

The area in front of the building is approximately 950 sq.m. and there is adequate space for parking trucks, vans and cars. The plant uses economical liquid gas and has its own fresh water storage tank. The plant has been built to top European standards and is probably one of the best of its kind in Europe for ready to eat organic food production. It can of course produce and non-organic foods if the market demands it.
