In 2009 eleven of the fresh range products were listed and distributed in the market with very encouraging response from the consumers.

These were listed in the Carrefour-Marinopoulos supermarket chain and organic food stores. The range was subsequently withdrawn temporarily in order to install modified atmosphere equipment and increase the fresh shelf life from 4-5 days to 10-14 days initially. This would allow us to deliver one drop of pallets into the supermarket chain central depots for national distribution and increased sales.

Later in 2009 the frozen range of family size pies was developed in two product codes, cheese pie and courgette pie and these were listed in 155 Carrefour-Marinopoulos stores nationwide and over 50 organic stores in the Athens-Attica area where they are still selling successfully today.

The plant configuration allows us to expand into other important markets as well.

  • In the Attica county there are over 80 function estates of mass catering (weddings, baptisms, birthdays, other functions etc). Over half of them are near the Koropi area.
  • There is need for corporate catering services supplying healthy organic food to companies and many of those are ready to sign up contracts providing the quality and cost is attractive.
  • Central production area for restaurants, hotels and other places that wish to include organic meals in their menus and not wishing to invest in building their own facilities.
  • Supplying organic products to wholesalers for distribution to independent fast food shops.
  • Direct to consumer operation.
